This is the final season of Game of Thrones. Who knows, if they’re really planning on going for it the Night’s King could arrive just in the final moments of this episode, so the entirety of the next one would be the battle (and maybe some of its aftermath.) Many will, but here’s how you can watch it online afterwards. Maybe it’s because it’s the final season and the assumption is that there will be enough draw for the audience to tune in regardless. After season 1, the show always took that week off, retiring an old episode rather than breaking out a new one. In past years the show would often skip a week on Easter Sunday. Things are a bit different for Game of Thrones season 8.
